This is an unusual podcast (aren't they all?)
From someone I've never met, didn't know, who passed in 1939 talking about what it's like on the flipside from a film producer's point of view.
After he showed up, and after I correctly guessed who he was - the medium Jennifer didn't know who he was, but Amelia Earhart invited him (!) - I looked him up.
Turns out he's one of the 5 founders of Universal pictures or saved the company. I learned this from a former exec there. That he is so important, the head of the studio recently flew to his home town in Germany to celebrate his anniversary.
And he's been off the planet since 1939!
Everything reported in here is true about Carl - he did offer Amelia Earhart a film, she did write a script with Mary Pickford - it's reproduced in one of George Putnam's books.
All accurate.
I didn't invite him. The medium didn't invite him. Amelia Earhart invited him.
Now just sit on that for a moment.
Then he says he's learning about Indian cuisine - "different spices" "different ovens." And then to characterize Moroccan salt flavor versus Himalayan? I mean - I have seen the Moroccan salt ponds off the coast of Casablanca. I remember viewing them and wondering about them.
And here he is talking about them.
And the ovens in Indian cooking? Anyone who has been to India knows this is fact (Tandoori chicken anyone?) but the medium wasn't aware of it.
But Carl is.
I can't' put it any other way.
This is someone who passed in 1939 describing the journey. And when he says "When people get bored of constructing everything they can over on the flipside, they return to an incarnation." Couldn't have put it any simpler than that.
When we get bored of being back home we decide to adventure out back to this place. (Or other places, as reported in "Architecture of the Afterlife.")
Not to mention the other folks who showed up.
Enjoy.
