I just finished listening to your audio book a few days ago. What a wonderful gift you have given the world!—to hear what Jesus actually has to say—straight from the source. Stripped of 2000 years of manipulation and meddling.
I can’t stop thinking about his messages; beautiful, gentle, suffused with love and free for all. I am overcome.
It has shown I don’t need to painfully reconcile what I felt in my heart was true with nagging doubts about biblical accounts and uneasiness with many Christian traditions. I’ve been hung up on sticking points since early Sunday school lessons. From age 5 or 6, I clearly remember disagreeing with things we were asked to say or sing but keeping it to myself as my lovely, kind father is the pastor at the church, and the Sunday school teachers meant well. Never wishing to cause any waves. Yet feeling drawn to it all nonetheless.
The true messages in each of your chapters helped me easily, for once and for all, cast aside the encrusted man-made encrustations like an unnecessary husk.
I am letting it all sink in, and plan on re-listening to the audiobook in the spring.
