#amelia #earhart #Electra, #AmeliaEarhart She Was Never Lost: The Amelia Earhart Saga is in the news. #NBC has announced a trek with #Purdue University to search an island in the South Pacific for her plane. I really don't know why, and can't comprehend why they don't take a look at the research, data, eyewitness reports that are easy to find. According to US Marines, her plane, the #electra was found in a hangar on Aslito airfield on June 18, 1944. I filmed EJ Nabers, US Marine, wire code operator for Lt. Col Clarence Wallace (whose uniform hangs in quantico) report how on June 19th, the next day, he decoded the message WE HAVE FOUND AMELIA EARHART'S AIRPLANE ON ASLITO FIELD. The footage that accompanies this was taken by Marines the day before - there was only ONE HANGAR left standing on the field with planes inside, the camera clearly shows two zeros, and then another plane parked sideways in the back (so it would fit in the hangar). The plane is covered by a tarp. So when Nabers decoded that message from Cincpac (Admiral Nimitz) the next day, logic tells us Marines would not have moved the plane inside or outside in the middle of a battle zone. Nabers was decoding a secret message. He was ordered to guard the plane and spent 24 hours outside the hangar it was in. Other GI's saw it in the hangar; Tom Devine, Doug Bryce, both on camera told of seeing it. "We all knew what it was." I met a GI shot in the first wave into Saipan - he said "everyone in the hospital was talking about how they found Earhart's plane." The plane was "test flown" two weeks later (multiple eyewitnesses) then two to three weeks later it was destroyed. (There's a photograph in the book of the message decoded that talked about a fire on Aslito field in July of 44). US Marine Robt Wallack found her briefcase with passport, maps, charts in a safe on Saipan, turned it over to Lt. Col Wallace, and EJ Nabers confirmed seeing the SAME BRIEFCASE in his tent. Nabers also decoded the message that the USS Indianapolis had been hit by a torpedo the day it happened (a day after it delivered Fat Man and Little Boy to Tinian next door). The reason no one went to rescue those men (look it up) was because they didn't want to "reveal the US had broken their codes." Same reason the US knew she was on Saipan but didn't report it. The war wasn't over for another year. They didn't know how her plane got to Saipan (the book does) or if she was somehow helping the Japanese (she wasn't.) She spend the last 7 years of her life in a cell, where she died of dysentery and was reburied by Catholic nuns elsewhere on the island. This isn't a mystery, this isn't something that needs to be uncovered - because people have already told their stories, told the same story about her. She was bisexual, had an open marriage, created the ERA, set records and had ticker tape parades before she learned how to be a pilot - but lost her life (and Noonan was executed for being "the spy") as the first victim of the War in the Pacific. She deserves to be honored for WHO SHE WAS and not how they screwed up finding her. It includes multiple interviews with MEDIUMS who sought me out - saying "Amelia wants to tell you her story" - I frankly don't care if that upsets some people because she told me the SAME STORY that I had learned through dogged research and a trip to Saipan where I interviewed 15 new eyewitnesses who told the exact same story. Former head of Paramount studios asked me to write a book that gave details of the people who claim to see or hear him in the past two decades of interviews.  I can't see him, but they can - and I ask him the same questions I ask everyone. 

What makes it uncanny is he shows up looking the same, if I ask him to change into something more conducive to conversation he often changes into the same unique tee shirt and jeans... and people report the same unusual colors in his eyes.

He says the same things over and over; "the bible is metaphor" "You don't have to follow me but let me walk beside you as we walk each other home" and "all religions point to the same garden."  He also claims to be available to anyone who asks for him.

SHE WAS NEVER LOST: THE AMELIA EARHART SAGA

Four decades of research, and the past ten years hearing from mediums and others who report seeing her and report the answers she gives to my questions.  In one case a doctor was given a list of questions I crafted,

the medium wasn't aware of me or the questions, and gave the exact same answers two other mediums gave to the same questions.

That and recent footage that came to my attention, shot on June 18, 1944 - the day that US Marines have reported to me in the book that they "found her airplane at Aslito airfield."  The book has transcripts of a dozen US Marines or veterans who found her briefcase, passport, maps, found the Electra, guarded the Electra, test flew the Electra and then destroyed the Electra by US forces.  Plus over 200 eyewitnesses saw her on Saipan after 1937 and I filmed 15 new ones in 2013.

The book goes into depth about her story, the secrets she kept and who the love of her life really was. She's not gone. She's just not here.

And she was never lost.

Here's my latest promo for the book SHE WAS NEVER LOST: The Amelia Earhart Saga.  At the end is footage of a hangar at Aslito airfield on Saipan. This footage appeared on my YouTube feed, so I watched it. I realized it was taken June 18th, 1944, THE DAY BEFORE US Marine EJ Nabers said he "decoded the message "we have found Amelia Earhart's airplane on Aslito airfield."  

I'd seen the footage before, but this time I watched it with fresh eyes.  There's an intact hangar with three planes inside. Two Japanese zeros and a third plane under camouflage. The two Zeros are facing outward - 10 feet high, 39 foot wingspan, 38 foot length - they both fit the hangar. But the third plane didn't so it is turned sideways facing the wall.  The Electra was also 10 feet high, also had a 39 foot wingspan, but was 55 feet long. 

(There's a typo in the promo  where I mixed up length and wingspan on the Electra. It's 55 feet long)

Whatever aircraft this is, it's too big to face the same way as the Zeros.  This footage was taken before they announced "finding her plane." (Nabers was ordered to guard the plane for 24 hours and many GI's corroborated his story - seeing him there - seeing the electra in this hangar. Later Nabers decoded a message saying they were going to fly it where multiple witnesses saw it, then decoded the message they were going to destroy it, which Nabers and others corroborate what he said)
