They're also in paperback at CreateSpace, but it will take a few days to link them up to the Kindle editions.

I will get all the links working as soon as I can.  At the moment, Volume One is linked to film reviews from one of my feature films "Point of Betrayal" - kind of funny, that.  I had to kill the DVD listing to keep my book listing. 

Why two volumes?

Because it's over 700 pages of LBLs, NDEs, interviews with scientists and others about the Flipside.  

I apologize for the verbosity - but it is what it is.

And it is what it should be.

Typos Typos Typos!!!

Argh.  It's been pointed out that there were a number of typos in the first edition Kindle version of "It's a Wonderful Afterlife" volume one.  http://www.amazon.com/Its-Wonderful-Afterlife-Adventures-Flipside-ebook/dp/B00NJB8UTU

As someone pointed out - "When you're talking about a topic that demands accuracy in reporting, typos don't cut it."

I heartily agree.  (Or is that I agree heartily?)

I worked for some years as an assistant to the great screenwriter Robert Towne ("Chinatown").  He would hand me his yellow pad and say "type it up."

So I'd go over the yellow pad carefully, and then, when using his Selectra with Elite 10 font, I would correct those words that seemed mispelled, or when he would use two dots .. instead of three ...

I brought him the pages and he said "what's this? You edited me Martinus?" (he like to refer to me in the Latin singular)

It was kind of like talking to God, and he looks at you and says "What were you thinking?"

So I went back and redid the pages - exactly as he'd printed them.

To say that I have a penchant for creating my own syntax and punctuation is an understatement. In a world where we are autocorrected at every step of the way, the art of writing is morphing before our eyes. And I'm helping that along.

But that's not excuse for dropping words in the middle of sentence (see? I dropped one on purpose) or other sundry mistakes.

Sorry about that.

The good news is that we live in a world where typos can be fixed pretty fast, and the new file can be uploaded before the cows come home, or the rooster crows.  So I've done that.

Anyone who feels they've gotten a lousy version, please let me know and I'll send the newer version.

I'm also just finishing up VOLUME TWO.  Yay.  So that (with its typos) will appear on Kindle in a few days.

And then I will do the audio versions of the books and hang up my afterlife cleats.  For now.

Either way, Happy Holidays from this side of the Flipside... and as we honor and remember all the amazing or lousy experiences we've had over countless holiday seasons (you know the ones I'm talking about - like driving around for four hours trying to find a New Year's Eve Party when I was in high school - which we never found - but was like looking for a ghost in the ether that we couldn't find).

Then imagine that you've had dozens, perhaps hundreds, even thousands of lifetimes!  Oh my!  What holiday fun!

And remember; Santa is more real than you think.

Santa is reflected in quantum theory - at least in the quantum butterfly effect.  The good that you do on the planet, the good intentions and gifts that you give, are like an energy wave that goves out and affects other people. And when you consider that Santa is part of our hearts - it's easy to understand how he can be in two places at once, travel through portals that wouldn't make sense in a materialistic world - and because we emanate his kindness from our own hearts, our own sense of kindness and love and compassion - then he exists as a reminder to see that we are all connected.  So the gifts that you give this holiday season will continue to gift and help others, and the love that you create this season, will live on long after you - like Santa.

Couple of things...

Thanks y'all for making my book #1 Amazon kindle in this genre.

As a first time author, the Catch 22 has been that I couldn't get the big publishers to publish FLIPSIDE - although they all claimed to like it - because I'm not an expert in the field, normally what's needed to ensure getting published.  But now that it's #1 in its field - that makes me a bit of an expert, even though it doesn't make a lick of sense. So thanks, and that will be helpful in my next book - which will be in the same genre, as I've continued filming people under deep hypnosis since it came out.

For those of you who haven't heard it, please check out this link for a video posted of the show that aired on "Coast To Coast" with George Noory. I had a blast doing the show - George made it seem like he was interested in the topic, and made my job easier - to fill 3 hours of airtime with tales from the Flipside.

But again, I'm a journalist and a documentary filmmaker - I'm not espousing a point of view, a belief, or trying to upend any belief system.  I'm just reporting what people say under deep hypnosis - in Michael Newton's research, he and his therapists have had over 7000 clients say the same things about the afterlife.  I've filmed 15 - some that I recruited, some who'd never heard of Michael Newton, or were vaguely familiar with his work, some who were convinced they could "never be hypnotized."

I've reported my findings to the University of Virginia where I met with Dr. Bruce Greyson, ("Father of NDE research") Dr. Jim Tucker (Reincarnation studies) Dr. Ed Kelly (EEG studies of psychic phenomena) and some other experts in their field.  They'd all read "Flipside" before our meeting and we discussed how hypnosis as its been practiced for the past 100 years hasn't been a tool of science.  However, because of the depth of Michael Newton's techniques - five and six hour sessions, people were able to attain a transdepth that allowed them to go deeper and further.  The film and transcripts of the book show that the questions asked are not leading or guiding the client to these areas or realms - they do the guiding and leading on their own.

And what they say about the Flipside is uniform - or amazingly the same throughout the planet.  Doesn't seem to matter who the therapist is or who the subject is - they all say relatively the same things when asked the same questions.  So that's the beginning of a study that might be conducted by these fellows.  We'll see.
