New appearance on Gaia's "Beyond Belief" with George Noory

Well, well, well... someone snuck onto plane in the midst of a pandemic to appear on George Noory's "Beyond Belief"

Interesting show.

George asks me about a conversation we had months earlier on "Coast to Coast" where he asked me to interview "Don Rickles" on the flipside.

Jennifer Shaffer and I did that interview, it appears in the book "Backstage Pass to the Flipside 3" where Don talked about his dog, how he's eating too much food, wearing hilarious outfits - and some love and tenderness for his wife.  He also mentioned meeting George Noory backstage.

How people on the flipside
see me and Jennifer

George didn't tell me he met Don backstage in Vegas.  I asked Don the question and he reported what happened.

So one can watch this episode and see live George Noory confirming that what Don said about him was accurate. What Don said FROM THE FLIPSIDE.

The medium couldn't know because I didn't know. All George asked me was to "interview Don Rickles."  I had no clue why, thought it might be to get a laugh.

But live on camera, George confirms what Don said.  That they met in Vegas backstage.  It's in the book.  It's on camera in the studio. Can't make this stuff up.

Here's the latest show.

Here's the Audible version. (Episode is available on Amazon Prime through its Gaia channel).

My two cents.

"Close Encounters" of the Father's Day kind

J. Allan Hynek from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
On Father's Day,  I had the privilege of being invited to another "Beyond Belief" on Gaia TV, hosted by George Noory ("Coast to Coast")  (Show will air in a few months.)

I didn't know what we were going to discuss, I brought copies of both new books "Backstage Pass to the Flipside 3: Talking to the Afterlife with Jennifer Shaffer book three" and "Architecture of the Afterlife: The Flipside Code."

It's always a treat to talk to George Noory. He's an excellent interviewer, he's genuinely curious about whomever he has on the show. It's a rare quality and a treat to see him.

Caught him on the way home.
George in the studio

At the Great Greek lunch
George asked a question about this interview - in it I interview J. Allan Hynek, who was a professor (briefly) at Northwestern, when "Sister Joel" - my science teacher in 7th grade invited him over to my house to talk to me about my science project. The project was "The Psychology and Therapy of Color" about how color as a frequency tends to influence how people perceive reality.  It won the State Science Fair that year, I was awarded a scholarship to the University of Illinois, but I knew even then that my interests lie elsewhere.

Here's a photograph of me in front of my science project.  I did surveys and asked people questions about their experience with color and focused on the scientific research that showed how certain colors affect prison populations (light blue was the most calming) or agitated individuals in hospitals. Basically how color as a frequency affects perception.

Haven't changed a bit.

I don't know why "Sister Joel" knew J. Allan Hynek - Joel is a funny name for a nun, as her order (Polish/Chicago Sisters of St. Casimir) chose patron saints for some reason, and I always thought of her as being from Krypton (Jor-el). (The Sisters of St. Casimir dropped their male appelations in 1967 - she may have become "Sister Ann" after that.) Years later she left the order (our pal Bill Meyer kept in touch with her, but he's on the flipside, so hard for me to track her down. Maybe I should ask him.)

But she brought this august professor to my parent's home in Northbrook, and the three of us sat in our living room. Me, this 13 or 14 year old kid (I think the meeting took place in 1968, the project won the State Fair in 1969), this brainiac nun, who somehow knew the preeminent scientist in close encounters research.
Meet J. Allen Hynek, the Astronomer Who First Classified UFO ...
J. Allan Hynek from Wikipedia.
I distinctly remember him smoking a pipe with cherry flavored tobacco. It was something professors did and whenever I was called upon to think of someone professorial, he'd pop into mind. Pipe smoking cliche.

But he came to mind while researching something for "Architecture of the Afterlife."  I thought - wait a second - I think I met this fellow 50 years ago.  And so, like I do sometimes, in a session, I brought his name up with Jennifer. She didn't know who he was - and I did some cursory research prior to the interview - but did not remember that he inspired the term "Close Encounters."

On the "Beyond Belief" episode I filmed on Father's Day, I didn't know George was going to ask about J. Allan Hynek - or show a clip from this interview.

So that was a fun question.

"Did you actually speak to him?" George asked. I recalled the story above on air, meeting him in the late 60's. How it's "easier to connect with people on the flipside if you've met them." (Even if they might barely remember the encounter.)

But after the show, I flew back to Santa Monica, enjoying some Father's Day pizza, my wife Sherry insisted we watch "Close Encounters" on Showtime.

At first I said - "I've already seen it" - not realizing that this was an entirely new edit. I did not know that J. Allan Hynek was an advisor on the film, nor did I know that he was in the film.

We sat and watched "the original" director's cut - which is wildly different than the theatrical release... everything makes sense in this cut, opening with the government having an encounter. Just like the one that was recently released - it made much more sense, the idea that there were news conferences that were cut from the theatrical release gave the story context - all I can say is, "the film made sense" this time watching it.

It's hard to believe I hadn't seen this "original cut" or the "director's cut" - because I thought I had seen the film. I had seen a different film that was at times difficult to follow and hard to care about. Not this time.

While watching the film, being aware of the research I've done ("Architecture of the Afterlife" includes a number of interviews with folks who claim to have either "had lives off planet" or with council members who have "never incarnated on the planet") gave the story a completely different perspective.  Yes - they have been trying to reach out to us, no we aren't capable of opening our awareness to them... yet.

And seeing the "ET's" at the end of the film appear this time around for me it's much more like "Oh, yeah, of course, I can't believe this was 1977, and we still haven't figured this out yet. I've talked to a bunch of these entities, and I'm not clear why no one else interviews them in the way I do. "What is it we need to know from you? And is it a cook book?" (Twilight Zone joke).

(By the way it was also fun to see my pal Carl Weathers in a clip trying to stop Richard Dreyfus in a brief cameo before he became a stuperstar - but I digress.)
Carl Weathers
"Where do you think you're going mister?"
As I looked up some details of the film while watching, it, telling my wife about this visit from J. Allan Hynek - (1968 or 69, not 1967 as I say in the "Beyond Belief" clip) and was telling her "I remember, he smoked this pipe; as I talked he puffed on it, like Sherlock Holmes."

But since I've directed a number of feature films (4) I also thought - "I'll bet if he worked as advisor Steven put him in the film somewhere" and sure enough, two minutes later,  there he was. (I now know that if you search for his name and use the title, this same photo appears on the net but I did not then).

I recognized him instantly - not from any photograph of him, which I had not looked up prior to this viewing, but from my memory of him. I met him when he had brown hair - same beard, shape but thinner - and when he put the pipe in his mouth I jumped out of my chair.

It's one of those details that if you're not paying attention you miss.

This fellow loved this pipe, had in 1968 when I interviewed him in my living room, still using it 11 years later when making a film with Steven Spielberg.

What are the odds that in the morning, on the Beyond Belief episode, George would ask me that question about J. Allan, and a few hours later, I would see J. Allan Hynek once again in my living room?

Astrofreakingnomical.

Let's just say that the concept that "there is no such thing as coincidence" is likely the case. Since they exist "outside of time" - they have a better shot at getting the editor at "Beyond Belief" to choose this particular clip for George to comment on (I had no idea), that George Noory is friends with J. Allen's son ("Did I tell you, he's a friend of mine?" "No, George I didn't know that" live on air) and then for me to come home from this sojourn, sit on the couch with my wife on Father's Day and she says "Let's watch "Close Encounters."  I said - literally - "I've seen it, but okay, if you think so, let's."

And then this new film I thought I'd seen but had not appears before me, completely different context, completely makes sense - honors the work of J. Allan Hynek, tells this story in the way that only Steven can with insight into human behavior, casting people who look real, seem honest, and we root for them. (The child who was kidnapped was a casting coup) and that Richard Dreyfus would replace him as the hero who goes off into the Joseph Campbell adventure. And... look, there's J. Allan Hynek with his pipe.

Boom. Freeze the frame. There he is. Again.

Of course I would watch that.
Of course I would see that same face of a fellow who graced my living room 50 years ago.
Of course I would interview him on the flipside about "aliens" if only to report that we are "all aliens" because we all choose to incarnate wherever it is we choose to do so.
Of course. He is not gone. He's just not here.

NOW YOU KNOW.

Just had to share this Father's Day tidbit.

New Beyond Belief with George Noory "Talking to the Flipside"

"Life after death may be far more fantastical than you can believe. Richard Martini presents us with a new perspective of the afterlife, based on his documentation of countless Between Life sessions, including contact with the late Bill Paxton. We listen in on several of these sessions to glean the uncanny commonalities of the accounts, giving us a clearer picture of what awaits us on the flipside of life.

After a dream vision of visiting his friend in the Great Beyond, author and award winning filmmaker Richard Martini went on a literary quest to discover the prevailing science and philosophical opinions on the afterlife. Eventually he was introduced to the work of author and hypnotherapist Dr. Michael Newton. FlipSide: A Tourist's Guide to the Afterlife is his debut non-fiction book on a topic that's been haunting him since the death of a soul mate."

Ghost Stories Beyond the Light

I answer questions on Quora now and then, and one of the most common is "Do you believe in ghosts?"

Per LaChaise Cemetery in Paris

I asked that question to my father as a toddler and his reply still holds up; "Ghosts don't exist."

Which I agree.  Ghosts, per se, do not exist.  Because they aren't "ghosts." They're just folks who are no longer on the planet.  They're people. They're still here.  Get over it.

I've seen ghosts most of my life - but didn't concern myself about it. Honestly.  It wasn't until they started to bug me that I actually thought about who or what they might be.

Like the fellow who used to live in my apartment in Santa Monica. I used to see him sitting on the edge of my bed.  "Who are you?" I got the impression he'd lived there before. Then I woke up to find him lying next to me on the bed. Naked. I jumped out of it (he disappeared).  I said "Dude. I don't mind you hanging out in your hold apt, but do not wake me up with your naked ass!"

He stopped. Then one day a new tenant ran in from next door.  Apt had been empty for years.  She screamed. "I was brushing my teeth and I looked up and a guy was standing behind me in the mirror!"  I said "Oh, was he about 5'10, sandy hair?" She said "Yes!"  I said "Oh, he's just the fellow who used to live here.  If you just tell him to stop doing that, he will."

Years later, I was in the post office standing next to a guy writing his return address on an envelope and recognized the address. (What are the odds?) I said "Dude, you live with a ghost."  He said "What?"  I told him the story... he didn't like hearing the story.  Too bad.  He lives with a ghost. Get over it.

I was in Sydney visiting the home of a friend who'd just sold his house. (Phillip Noyce and Jan Sharp in Darlinghurst) It was empty save for a bed which they left behind so I could camp out for a couple of fun filled weeks.

One morning I awoke to see a man in a painter's outfit hanging from the rafters.  When he saw me react, he reacted - and said in an Aussie accent; "Terribly sorry mate, it's just something I feel the need to do." Then a ladder appeared, and he pulled the rope from his rafter and CLIMBED DOWN THE LADDER.  I blinked... and it was gone.

Not his ladder

I spoke to Jan Sharp later that day "What's up with the ghost?" She asked what I was talking about. I told her.  She said "Well our painter did hang himself but he did so in his own home."  I said "Well, he must like your home better because he's still hanging around."

I originally thought he was Mohawk
but research tells me he was Iroquois.
I was teaching in Maine - I woke to find a native american in full battle gear standing over me with an axe and a knife.  His arms were dripping something - looked like blood - could have been paint.  He was SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER in my face.  Like "Get out!" but in Mohawk or Iroquois. I jumped up and he disappeared.  I said "Look, I'm only teaching here in Maine for a week - I'll be gone then, okay?"  And for that entire week slept with every light on, tv on, radio on. He didn't bug me again.

Like I say - just didn't bother with them. If they don't bother me, why bother them?

Can you hear me now?
Until I was staying at a friend's place in Connecticut.  And my wife and I heard "knocking" "tapping" outside the wall - where no one could knock. And then the lights going on and off - and a groan... whenever it rained.

One night I had a vivid dream where I met this "angry presence" - which I saw covered in blood, in a british uniform - old, tattered, beard... angry fellow showed me the horrors of his situation.  Dead bodies all around - moaning and general horror.

I did some research, found the home was built on a British garrison from 1812. I think I was being shown the hospital - or the dungeon - I don't know.  It was pretty nasty.

But the next time this fellow appeared - sensing his presence "enter the room" in a cloud of anger. I said "Hi. Look. I know you're upset that we're staying in your home.  I apologize. However, if you look around you'll see a light, and beyond that light is everyone you've ever loved. Just go into that light and you'll see what I'm talking about."  I was guessing this to be the case - I had just started this research, and it seemed like the most logical, compassionate thing to say.
Typical 1812 uniform

He didn't bother us again that trip... and I thought, "wow, cool, it worked." (We'd tried sage and any other number of suggestions... never told our hosts about it. Why tell them "There's a scary ghost in your guest house?")

But a year later we were back, and this time I had a dream where this young handsome guy came to visit - he was wearing 19th century clothes, three piece suit - trimmed beard. He came up to me and said in the most proper English; "I just wanted to come back and thank you for sending me home."

Mind you - I ASSUMED this was make believe - wishful thinking.  But I also allowed it might not be.  I may have mentioned this in my books - but maybe not. I'm writing this down, because I tried this technique a few weeks ago.

George Noory of "Coast to Coast" fame.

I was in Boulder shooting "Beyond Belief" with George Noory.  The episode hasn't aired yet, but will soon. I was in the makeup room with the very talented makeup artist, and we were catching up since my last appearance.

A producer came in and said "Tell him about the ghost!"  She said "Oh yeah, there's a ghost in the studio."  I asked about him. She said she saw him one day - walking in to a locked set - hiding behind some lights.  She said the crew all knew "someone" was moving lights around, breaking them, doing stuff in a locked room - but she also "saw him."

George Noory and Jennifer Shaffer

I asked if she'd seen ghosts before. "When I was younger."  I said, "Let's try an experiment, shall we?" Who is this guy?  She said "No idea."  I said, "Let's ask.  Try to remember what you saw. Can you freeze what you saw as a photograph? or a hologram?"

She said "Ok."  "Move closer to him, what does he look like?" She described a young man in his 20's, sandy hair, eyes, etc.  I said "Let's ask him. Who are you?" She "heard" a name - told it to me, and we "asked him" what he was doing there. She said her first impression was that he died nearby in a fire in the 1950's.

She said "he's very angry." I said "What about?" She said... "Oh my god! About our show! He's angry because he says the people who come on the show are not telling the truth about what it's like over there!"

She laughed - the producer was still in the room, and they both laughed at that idea; a critic from the flipside.  I said "What is it they're getting wrong?"  She said "He says "Everything."

I said, "Look around you my friend. There's a light. And beyond that light is everyone you've ever loved and who ever loved you. Do you want to go and see it?" She said "No, he's too angry."

I thought okay, try another tack.  I said "Well, can you see the light?" "Yes." "Can you go closer to it?" "Okay." "Describe what you feel."  He said "It feels warmer."  I said "Okay, step through the light."  He said "No, I don't want to let go of my anger."

I said, "It's okay. Your anger will stay here.  You can always come back and retrieve it.  Just put your hand through the light, how does that feel?"  "Warmer."  I said "Now stand in the light, what's that feel like?" She/he said "I feel less angry."  I said "Okay, step on the other side of the light - you can always come back here, this sound stage isn't going anywhere."  (If I were filming this, this is the moment I would have shoved the fellow "through the door." But I didn't. I just asked him to check out the other side.)

He said "Okay." I said "Describe what you're seeing."  He said "I'm seeing everything differently..." I said "Look around. Do you see your family?"  He said "I hate my family. I wouldn't go to them if I saw them."

I pressed him; "But look carefully. See anyone?" He said "I see my uncle. He's the only person who loved me."  I said "Can we ask your uncle to come over here?" He said "okay."
Home.

I said "Take his hand. What does that feel like?"  He said he felt love, comfort, safety.  I asked if the uncle would show him around a bit?" The uncle said, "Sure." (She said, "He's saying "sure.")

I said "Look, you can always come back - do you want to come back?" And he said "No, I want to stay here with my uncle for awhile."

With George in the makeup room.

George popped his head in and off I went to do the show.  After the show, I went back to get my bag and the make-up artist said "He came back!"

I thought... "Oh no, it didn't work. Their ghost had returned."  I said "It didn't work?"  She said "No, he just came back to thank me for helping him."

It did work.

So in answer to the question "What would you say to a ghost now that you know the architecture of the flipside?" that's what I'd say. "Everyone who ever loved you, or whom you loved, is on the other side of that light."

We don't need to push them out the door - it's up to them to take it. But that's one method of how to do it.

Wednesday

A conversation from the flipside with the recently departed Michael Newton

With Jennifer Shaffer (.com) and Scott De Tamble (lightbetweenlives.com)

For fans of my work, you know that as of late, I've been actively reaching out to the flipside to hear any messages, especially ones that contain new information.  That is something I could not have known, or whomever I'm talking to could not have known prior to our speaking.  Information that cannot be ascribed to cryptomnesia (hearing it somewhere else subconsciously) or hypoxia (lack of oxygen caused hallucinations).

The point is to demonstrate that people who used to be on the planet have not disappeared, are not "ended" but continue to be accessible on the flipside, albeit in a different format.  That's the premise of "Hacking the Afterlife."

My work has brought me into the world of mediumship - it's not something that I sought out, but at some point realized that while most people seek out psychics or mediums to "predict their future," mediums or "intuitives" are also conduits to the flipside.  Or to put it more succinctly, their energetic structure is more aligned with the frequencies on the flipside, and therefore have a better capacity for communicating with people there.

An intuitive may see or feel or sense the answer to a question - may be given a visual, or may imagine a visual that answers the question.  One can argue that it doesn't matter "where" the answer comes from - if it's new information, then it proves that the information isn't coming from this realm.

Certainly there are people who can and should be taken with a grain of salt in this field - you don't have to put on a pyramid hat in order to examine the data - meaning that as long as the questions don't devolve into predictions or love interest, depending upon the person being asked the questions, they can gather verifiable information. (The reasons I mention the above caveats, is because by and large psychics are asked the two questions; "who is my soul mate?" or "what's going to happen to me?")

My research shows that your soul mate will or won't show up in your lifetime based on an agreement you've already made with them (so no need to hunt them out) and that the future is not set (There appear to be "likely outcomes" that a medium may be able to accurately predict given a certain time frame, but since we have free will, anyone can screw up that likely outcome by changing their mind or plan at any time.)  So as long as we are asking "real time questions" to a medium, we can get answers from people who are currently no longer on the planet.

This past week I was on the Beyond Belief show with George Noory. Just prior I had lunch with Jennifer Shaffer, who appears in a number of chapters of Hacking the Afterlife.

We were talking about a mundane topic when she said suddenly “Your friend, Michael Newton just showed up over your shoulder.”  I asked how he was doing on the other side and she said “He’s telling me that he came to visit you in a dream.”

Michael Newton
At the moment, I didn't remember him showing up in a dream, but later my wife reminded me that the night after he died, she'd asked if he'd "shown up" and I had said "Yes, I asked him what his experience was like, and he said "different."  I didn't know if he meant different than he'd reported, or "just different" than it was before.

Taking the opportunity to ask someone questions who has shown up - even though we were in a noisy restaurant, I took out my cell phone and recorded the following conversation.

I asked him directly; "Hi Michael.  Tell me if your are encountering the “27 different realms that he had told me about.”  (During our interview in 2009, off camera, I'd asked him if during his own between life sessions, he's been to visit the five of six different realms I'd heard about, and he said "Oh, I've been to at least 27.")

She said; “He’s showing me five realms… and two underneath this one.” Then she said “He’s showing me that he’s taking notes.”

I turned my camera on.  It was a noisy restaurant, the transcript as close as I can muster:

RM: “Our question to Michael was… he just showed up spontaneously at our lunch in Manhattan Beach, “You’re taking notes on how to make it easier to communicate from over there to here, or from over here to there?”

Jennifer: “From where I am." He’s taking notes from there, as to help people here… to be able to communicate here…  it’s to help everyone here, work with their conscious mind. He showed me, like a veil, lifting.

"A veil lifting. So is your work helping them communicate better to us over here? Is that what you’re saying? Your life’s work?"

"Yes." He’s talking there, “Because we have everything here,” he says.

Rich: "So we have the ability to talk to them, he’s helping them to have the ability to communicate with us?"

"Right."

"On an energetic level?"

"Yes. A matching level."

After a couple of personal questions about friends in the Newton Institute, I asked:

Rich: "So why did you show up today? Did you show up to tell us (just) that?"

Jennifer: He says “No, I’m here because I’m taking notes.”

"On our conversation?"

“I’m in communication mode.” Yes. “It’s like noetic science but from the other side.”

(Note: “The Institute of Noetic Sciences describes noetic sciences as "how beliefs, thoughts, and intentions affect the physical world" (wiki) This is not a term or concept that I nor Jennifer was familiar with. I have heard of Noetic sciences, most likely through Dan Brown’s novel, but have never used them in a sentence before. So this concept is new information, both to me and Jennifer. Never heard of them, didn't know about them, not a clue. NEW INFORMATION.)

Rich: "Interesting. If there is any way I can help your work, let me know. I’m going on George Noory’s show this weekend “Beyond Belief.” I’m sure your name will come up. Anything you want me to pass along?"
With George Noory

Jennifer: (He says) Tell Richard everything he’s set out to do; he’s done, and then some - he’s surpassed what he planned or signed up for… and beyond that.

Rich: Oh. (flattered, trying to think of something funny, like “will I get an Oscar for that?”) Will I get a lottery number soon?"

Jennifer: "What good would that do?"

Rich: I understand. Very good. (laughter.)

Jennifer: (Laughs). I said to him “So help us along, (with a lottery ticket) and he said, “No, you just have to be and things will come to you.”

Rich: Michael, remind me; what was it that we talked about in my dream?

(Note: When I got home and told my wife Sherry about this conversation, she reminded me that the night after he died, I had a “conversation” with him in a semi-conscious state. Jennifer’s reminding me of it didn’t jog my memory until I spoke to my wife, who said “Remember? You said you spoke to him.”)

Rich: Let me ask you my friend, is there anything you want me to say on the show when your name comes up? Family, friends or people?

Jennifer: (He says) “Everybody can speak to the other side. And that no one does not - not have the capability to do so. Everyone should start, they should start bringing them in closer. He showed me like both of these dimensions, of which there are a gazillion, but he showed me the dimensions of it -- being like at a dinner table where you’re translucent to each other…  yet you still have the energy of other people (that are) with you (but you’re not consciously aware of).

Rich: So people should have a meditation on bringing your friends in, or at a dinner party, imagine your loved ones who are gone, are with you?

Jennifer: I suggested to him, like my idea of having a group called “wine and spirits” (Jennifer’s idea of bringing mediums together over wine and conversation) and he said (laughs) “Not with your group.”

Rich: So an example might be; at Thanksgiving, why not add other people to your table, those are the loved ones you’ve lost you’ve known or would like to know…

Start talking to folks no longer on the planet. They can hear you.
Jennifer: (He says) "Yes." He just gave the best “Yes!”

Rich: A little bit like Elijah and the Jewish tradition. Put out a chair in case Elijah shows up.

Jennifer: "Yes."

Then Michael had a personal message for me about one of my kids and school.  It was not something that he was aware of while he was on the planet, I hadn't spoken to him via email in years, so how he might have been able to comment on that detail is beyond me. But the comment was very specific, as well as touching, and incredibly rewarding.  He spoke as if it was something he was completely aware of on the flipside, details that I had not shared with Jennifer.

Another piece of "new information." He specifically told me how to deal with it, and his suggestion was brilliant. Again, he knew nothing of this while he was on the planet - he could only have observed it from his new place and time frame.

Then, as the check came:

Jennifer: (aside) Prince showed up at the end.

(Note: Prince, the musician, showed up at this same restaurant a few months prior, during another lunch. That conversation I filmed and included in “Hacking the Afterlife.”  We were just about to leave, but I said “We can’t not speak to Prince!” JENNIFER HAS NO RECOLLECTION OF THE FOLLOWING.)

Rich: Let’s talk to him. Hello Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson. Does Prince have anything he wants to say on the “Beyond Belief” show?

Jennifer: (He says) Tell him that it’s a “sound note...” he showed me the matrix… tell him “It’s a sound note.”

(Note: Funny word play as well.  A musician giving us a “sound note.”  It’s a note, just the way Michael was taking notes, but it’s also a musical note, and a spiritual one as well.)

Rich: What’s that mean?

Jennifer: I don’t know. Hang on. (He says) “It’s not how you look, (I think he’s referring to my concern I had about how I “looked on the show” which I did not express to Jennifer, but was on my mind) It’s not what you say, (meaning it’s not the content of what I’m saying on the show) it’s how you vibrate in your awareness. Awareness of one another. In order… In your awareness of the accumulation… So like, he’s showing me that in your awareness, it’s a note – so if your frequency is clear, that’s how you attract someone."

"Because when you’re in the consciousness of the higher level, where there is no hierarchy… and if you’re bouncing (broadcasting) on a certain level, then that gets through with more potency. When you’re bouncing on a lower level, its fragmented. If it’s fragmented, you’re not able to connect, which logically, you can’t connect -- he’s showing me “You don’t connect well when you’re out of mode of vibration” -- but when you’re not afraid of vibration, (and are able to resonate at a certain pitch) you’re able to then send it out and then receive that higher vibration…

Rich: A bit like we were saying earlier, when you strike a chord, and all the guitars in a room start to vibrate at that same tone? You hit a note and all the guitars resonate on that same string?

Jennifer: (He says) "Yes."

Rich: So the idea being not higher or lower, but stronger?

Jennifer: (He says) "But not all the same – high frequencies can sound low."

Rich: I think he means, higher frequencies meaning from a higher place? Or stronger?

Jennifer: He just showed me this song I listen to “Every rose has its thorns.”

Rich: Higher meaning the place they’re coming from?

Jennifer: (He says) "Right. You can… but if you have a higher (stronger) frequency, you’ll still connect with the people that will come. It’s a matrix."

Rich: My question for you (Prince) .. since we last spoke in this same restaurant two months ago, what does that feel like to you in terms of time, comparatively?

Jennifer: He says “A millisecond – even less than that…” He just told me, “even less than that; it’s continuous.” So like he was here and it’s a continuous dialog. "It’s a continuous dialog with God. Like it’s one.. obviously…"-- He just showed me a goddess, but (it feels like) he’s kidding around with that. (looks at her watch)  I gotta go.

Rich: Prince, thanks for stopping by, we’ll have to get back to you!

In the book "Hacking the Afterlife" Prince makes the observation that he liked the fact that I tend to print verbatim what is said in a conversation.  I've left out the personal references in this missive, but all I can tell you is that we did not set out to "talk to" anyone - we were just hanging out at a local eatery when she noted that someone had shown up in our lunch.

Robin Williams and Prince both appeared during our previous lunch - we did not ask for them to appear - Robin makes an appearance in my book "It's a Wonderful Afterlife" and Prince made an appearance in "Hacking the Afterlife" - but at this point, I had not shown the book to Jennifer, nor mentioned that he was going to appear in the book.  So when he showed up during our conversation and spoke about his chapter in the book, it was "new information" for Jennifer.

The point is - we live in a multi-dimensional reality.  There's much more going on than we can possible imagine.  But we should take the time to look around and perceive it.

As a final note; last night I was talking to someone about a group he's associated with.  He said "They focus on healing the soul so that we no longer have to reincarnate."  I said "Why would we no longer want to incarnate?"  He said "Well, because it's difficult here."

I said, "Think about that for a moment.  What's here? People you love, things you love, trees, sunlight, cappuccinos.  This is heaven. This is the most wonderful place to be.  Back home - back on the flipside, that's a place of unconditional love. But it's all a mental energetic construct - as it is here, of course - but back there trees are not solid. They're squishy because they're focused energy.  Here, you can actually go out and hug a tree, taste a real cappuccino, have a really good slice of pizza."

I said "It reminds me of two instances where avatars showed their devotees the nature of reality. One was Buddha, the other Jesus - Buddha's monks asked "What's nirvana like?" and he put his finger to the Earth and "showed them."  The other was Jesus on the cross, and the two thieves said "What's heaven like?" and Jesus showed them.

I suggest that both showed them what you're looking at right now. This screen. Your desk. Your handheld cell phone.

Look up for a moment. Look around you. There's sunlight, you're sitting, you're laughing, you're looking around you. Look at all those happy people walking around you. They're here. They're actually on the planet with you. They're smiling because they know what you know.  This is paradise. This place. This is heaven.

Oh sure, there's a lot about heaven that's problematic - those people who choose to play difficult roles on stage, those people who choose to experience tragedy, or cause pain in others to help them, or help themselves experience the energy of it.. but aside from that...

At some point all of us got a glimpse of heaven. Woke up and saw the sun shining in through a curtain, the warmth of its rays bringing us out of our slumber. We've breathed fresh air after a spring rain. Experienced the wet smell of leaves in a leaf pile. Felt the rush of diving into a clear pool of water. Experience the smell of mom's cooking luring us to a table, the feel of a dog's nose under your hand, insisting on getting some love. The purr of a cat lying on your chest, it's eyes closed. The song of a child's laughter.

Yes, we already are in heaven.

We just can't see it.

(I'll be on Coast to Coast AM november 4th. yay!)

Hacking the Afterlife on "Beyond Belief"

I'm going to be on "Beyond Belief" next weekend with George Noory. (Oct 9th) That's his show on GaiaTV.

Hacking the Flipside

It should be another fun adventure - George is one of the greatest interviewers of all time, I haven't a clue as to what he wants to talk about, but he's invited me onto his show.

Couple of dudes talking Flipside.

As I've tried to tell him and his staff - I'm not selling or promoting the idea that people should read or buy "Hacking the Afterlife."  In fact I'm warning people NOT TO BUY THE BOOK.

Why?

Because it's not for everyone.  It's going to be disturbing to some people who don't want to hear what people say about the flipside.  It goes down paths that I've never gone down before, and it is what it is.

What's in the book?
Edgar Cayce
Oh, an interviewer with a channeler who claims to channel Edgar Cayce.  Why is this interesting? Because I ask Edgar why he was so wrong in his predictions of the future.  I also ask him who was supplying the information for his trance sessions - and his answers dovetail completely with the research in "Flipside" and "It's a Wonderful Afterlife."

No caption needed.
I include interviews with three different mediums who claim to be able to access Amelia Earhart.  The first one came to me out of the blue - and told me information about her that I could not find in my extensive research into her life (for my own films, and later for the Fox film "Amelia") - the medium Pattie Canova gave me tips about secrets in her life that were not public.

Some years later, I supplied the questions to a medium who was going to interview her - and that was interesting, because neither the medium or the woman asking the questions (Dr. Medhus and Jamie Butler of "Channeling Erik" fame) knew anything about Earhart's life and death.  But I did.

During that interview, Amelia confirmed a number of the secrets about her - gave new information about them, but refused to answer a question about how she died.  She actually said "If the person who supplied these questions wants to ask me privately I'll tell him."  I missed that detail when I heard the session, but it wasn't until I transcribed it for the book that I became aware of the offer.

Me, Jennifer Shaffer and Scott De Tamble (all in the book)
Out of the blue, medium Jennifer Shaffer (.com) who works with law enforcement on missing person cases (including the FBI and others that I've verified) called me, and on a lark I said "how'd you like to be involved with the most famous missing person case in history?"  Her interview with Amelia confirmed details I knew, but also gave me new information - which has proven to be accurate AFTER the session.  So Amelia gave me clues about her that no one on the planet knew... until now.

Finally, the last third of the book is examining the many reports I've gotten about Jesus still existing on the Flipside, still helping people during a near death experience, and showing up in all kinds of random places.  I decided to let that be part of this book because who am I to hide this information?

So that's why it's a controversial book.  That and I include interviews on the Flipside with Prince Rogers Nelson and Robin Williams.

Again....

I'm not talking to the dead.  I DON'T CLAIM TO SPEAK TO THE DEAD. Jennifer talks to Prince and Robin, but I supplied some of the questions.

I have no abilities in this area. I'm not a hypnotist. I'm not a medium. I'm not a scientist. But I know a few who are.

I film and report all of these interviews.  So that's what we're talking about next weekened (Oct. 9th - Gaia TV) on George Noory's BEYOND BELIEF.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Giordano Bruno. Warning you. (George was burned at the stake for reporting his out of body experience where he saw the earth going around the sun, and other solar systems)
