Zeitgeist is defined as "the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time."
Renaissance zeitgeist - the Oculus
There have been a number of projects as of late that deal with the "Flipside" (as I prefer to call the side that's not "here." If I call it "the afterlife" there's a uniform brain freeze. If I call it "the other side of the veil" that's not so accurate either, as which veil are we talking about? So "the other side of the record" is easy enough.) So there's a bit of a zeitgeist with regard to depicting the flipside. "Stranger Things" - a series on Netflix, depicts a fantasy "Flipside" that is the opposite of this side - only with creepy flower faced creatures or gorgons over there. So when someone "falls into a portal" they're still here, just not visible.
Not gone. Just not here.
That's accurate, with regard to this research. "Not gone. Just not here." Then we have the series "The OA." As noted, this is a series that included some of the science behind Near Death Experiences. I say "science" because it has been studied, published in peer reviewed journals by Doctors like Bruce Greyson at UVA, Dr. Sam Parnia of the Aware project, and numerous other sources.
Arrival is also about thinning the veil.
The essence of what this NDE research points to - is that people often have a near death experience that takes them "somewhere else" that's not here. The cases are varied, and provable to the degree that they were not created by the brain, could not have come from what science has believed up until now - cryptomnesia, hypoxia or even synesthesia. I won't go here into how that could be - I do extensively in my books "It's a Wonderful Afterlife" where I interview Dr. Greyson, neuroscientist Mario Beauregard and others about "post materialist science." I won't go into what that means either, because after all - these shows are about post materialist science. Which is to say that they try to document stories of people who are conscious while they should not be conscious.

In "The OA" there's a depiction of what it feels like for Prairie (Brit Marling) when she has a near death experience. She appears in a sea of stars and talking to her "spirit guide" Khatun ("Noble Woman"in Mongolian, Urdu, Turkish, Arabic and Persian - like "Aga"). That's the same kind of description I've been documenting for the past decade, in the film "Flipside" and in my books. People meeting up with their spirit guide in the afterlife. (We all have one, according to these reports, apparently, and sometimes more than one.)
Prairie and her spirit guide.
Each case is different. And yet the hallmarks are the same.
Which brings me to the film "Miracles from Heaven" featuring Jennifer Garner (based on the book by Christy Bream) in the true story about a young girl who had an incurable disease, had a near death experience, and came back healed from it. For a description of the same kind of event, I recommend reading about Dr. Anita Moorjani's experience - a woman who had days to live due to cancer, and during her near death experience, figured out what the problem was, and came back to cure herself. Within days she was in remission, and lived to tell her story. The film "Miracles" includes some faith based story telling - Jennifer's character is a church going member who loses her faith, but it's restored when she realizes all the people who came together to help create the miracle of her daughter's healing.
Mnemosyne, Goddess of .. um... er... memory.
Some folks think that the word "heaven" or the word "god" is confined to only religious beliefs and texts. I can understand that, as growing up Catholic, my mind would go into full "brain freeze" at any of those terms. Including "Jesus." That's pretty much how we view our planet and culture - those who "believe" in God, have faith in the afterlife, have faith in their religion, or their religious leaders, whether it's Jesus, Krishna, Brahma, Buddha or Muhammed, or some other avatar who brought compassion and wisdom to their lifetime. I'm not here to change anyone's opinion on the matter.
Seriously. Brain freeze. But everyone loves this dude. Me too.
There's a good reason we choose our lifetimes, and there's equally good reasons why choose the religion we adhere to. We tend to think of it as a choice by our forefathers - but if our forefathers aren't us - I mean literally, if it's true that we choose our lifetimes, then we've chosen this religion and path because we want to. There's nothing that says we have to remain whatever religion our parents are or were - and yet there's also compelling reasons to stay within our traditions. We may have signed up to learn or teach lessons within those confines, and if it's part of the chosen path or journey, why dispute or debate about that choice? Only you - only the person reading this sentence - can know why they chose (or didn't choose) the belief system they're part of. Or their non belief system. I adhere to the non "belief" system. Meaning I choose to examine the data first, and come to my conclusions based on the data, or self experience. I leave the belief, or faith aside. I can say "I experienced this epiphany, so I have a certain connection to it, so I can describe it." The majority of research I've done in this field points to one thing - we come here, we leave here, and then we go home. We have people we work with back there and here, and there are reasons events happen to us here that are related to our path and journey.
This fellow was mistaken for Constantine so they didn't melt his statue. It's actually Marcus Aurelius. Hi Marco. Not gone. Just not here.
Which is the part of the film "Miracles" that I liked the most. There's a montage where the audience gets to see all the "miracles" that had to occur for this little girl to get where she got, and it included strangers acting with compassion. A perfect metaphor for why we come here in the first place. We come, reportedly, to help others, to have compassion for others, or to play the role of someone without compassion so we can teach others. It's hard to choose to come here. It takes courage to choose to come here. And it takes courage to fulfill whatever it was that we agreed to come here to do. So the Miracle from Heaven (meaning our own "Miracle from Heaven") begins with our choice to come to the planet in the first place. We have angels all around us, because we are all angels - we are all both humans and our spirit form, which inhabits our space while we're here. When the human part of us expires, that spirit form heads "home" to join up with other folks that we know and love. This is what thousands have said is their journey (I've documented some of it in my books, filmed 35 between life sessions) and I'm here to point out that the more people open up about their personal experiences in this field, the more shows, plays, songs, poems, and other creative people will try to express this in their work.
Blue Marble. Nice place. Let's keep it that way.
I recommend everyone start noting those things that they feel have "other worldly" experiences attached to them. Look around for those angels who are here to help you. And be the angel that you are meant to be by helping others. It's nothing you have to kneel in a church pew to experience, it's nothing to do with organized religion by any stretch of the imagination. It's contrary to everything I've ever heard about why we're on the planet, but at the same time, it's consistent with the research.
For those familiar with my writing about the flipside, or how I prefer to call the "afterlife" - I was pretty much open mouthed and dumb struck as this story was told to me.... a couple of hours ago. It might as well have come from one of my books... For those unfamiliar with "Flipside""It's a Wonderful Afterlife" and "Hacking the Afterlife" - the points of this story all converge in the same place: "The OA." Now, the OA as depicted in the series is a shortcut term for "Original Angel." Which is like calling someone an OG or "original gangster." It doesn't mean they're THE original angel. But it does refer to being an Old School Member.
I was filming an interview on Santa Monica Beach with Jennifer Shaffer when my high school buddy came through. He had just passed that morning and Jennifer said "Oh Billy is here." I asked him some questions about the Flipside. "You can move around a lot quicker."
So in the OA we meet characters who have been with us for many lifetimes. Like the character Brit Marling meets during her near death experience as a young girl. She meets the character known as Kaithun (which means "Origin" in Arabic) - did she have a previous lifetime with Kaithun? It's possible. Our spirit guides sometimes accede to our request ("please! I can't get through this lifetime without you helping me!") but by and large, our spirit guide (we all have ONE and some have more than one, but basically one is the "main person" for each of us) does NOT incarnate with us on Earth (or wherever we CHOOSE to incarnate) because after all, how can they help us if they're always there by our side guiding us? Do we learn better by doing it ourselves? Or by being shown how to do it?
I'll let the crickets answer that one. So back to this story I heard today. I ran into a friend, a fella I met recently who has read my books, who was chatting with a friend who HAS NOT read any of my books. (I know this because at one point he said "Have you heard of "Coast to Coast" radio?" And I said "Um... yeah. I've been on there six times so far.") So this is not a fan of my work, has not read my descriptions of near death experiences, of out of body experiences, or between life sessions - in fact he knows nothing about my version of the flipside whatsoever.
This woman was 120 years old when I met her on Dominica
(Our discussion went sideways when he brought up the Seth teachings that say that "time doesn't exist" on the flipside - (actually Seth's offering is that "time doesn't exist until we invent it" which is another way of saying that "time is relative") to which I said "Actually, it does exist per se, just relatively and differently from our experience here.") This new friend argued that he was aware that time does not exist, that "everything is happening simultaneously" (as Seth has been quoted) to which I replied "Seth is not omniscient. He knows and relates based on his lifetimes and whatever knowledge he can access. But it's not omniscience. By saying "Time does not exists because it's all happening simultaneously" or saying "Time exists relatively because it feels like it's happening simultaneously" - a big difference in my mind. (No disrespect to Seth, but this is a frequent discussion I've had with folks knowledgeable about his "teachings" - and I find it amusing that people get so upset about the idea that time does exist on the flipside, just differently. They should have known I'd make that argument.) The reason it matters (at least to me) is because I've heard - "If everything is happening at the same time, then what's the point? What lessons can we learn?" Which would be accurate if that was true. If you were five and ten, twenty and sixty at the same time - what the hell could you possible learn? My point is that the research is consistent in this area - that time on the flipside is different, amazingly so, by which I mean it's both linear and non-linear. And we come here to experience linear time so we can progress back there... meaning we grow from young souls to older souls, from novice to knowledgeable.
The path to enlightenment. Or the Santa Monica Mountains.
That we find young souls on the flipside, and then old souls - there is a progression, which is relative to each person. And the punchline is that the future does not exist yet, because WE HAVE FREE WILL. We can always change our mind about what we thought we were going to do. That's universal. And people do often change their mind from moment to moment. When people predict the future they're seeing "likely outcomes." I've heard this over and over again in the research. I know that ruffles some feathers - or wattles - after all this is the New Year of the Fire Rooster, and some "wattles" are more orange than others - but I digress. I came here to tell this story about Russell, and not get bogged down in a discussion of time. Let's put it this way, if time exists simultaneously, then there's no point in reading the end of this paragraph. You already know it. But for those who've stuck around - and want to know - how does this story he's about to tell relate the series "the OA" - let's continue, shall we? This fellow told me that 40 years ago he had this profound "dream." He didn't call it a dream, because it was more vivid than that - and he said the elements of it were as real as his talking to me 40 years later, the details as vivid in his mind's eye as the day they happened. He was in bed, when he felt himself being escorted somewhere. He didn't see he was "out of his body" because he wasn't aware of that. But he was aware that some individuals were walking him through what appeared to be a warehouse of some kind. (or in this case "an aware-house.") He said "Like in those James Bond films when they're walking across a construction site or platform..." The escorts kept telling him "Don't worry, you'll be fine." At some point they made it to an elevator and these fellows either put him inside of it, or escorted him into it. He said as it rose, it started to go faster and faster until it was going at an incredible rate of speed. He said the experience was painful. That he was scared and in pain during this portion of his journey. But when he arrived at his destination, he was aware that he was out in deep space, that he could see the earth through some kind of window, and the stars beyond. (Note: for those familiar with "Flipside" this kind of out of body experience to go and visit a loved one is what began my journey to the Flipside. I had the same experience of "travelling through space" at an "incredible rate of speed" but had not feelings of pain.)
Gateway perhaps?
And he became aware of his friend Russell, a teenager who died at the age of 15. This experience occurred about a decade after Russell's death, so he was surprised to see the tall (he said about 6'7") teen coming towards him. He was consciously aware of Russell's death so he said "But how could you be here, since you're dead?" To which Russell replied "But look at me. I can't be in front of you if I'm dead, can I?"
Andromeda.
Then this fellow said he was overcome with a strong emotional feeling of being "HOME." (For those of you familiar with my research, this is what nearly everyone I've filmed has said after recalling a "previous lifetime" while under deep hypnosis (including myself.) When the hypnotherapist asks "So now where would you like to go?" I said - and most of the people I've filmed said - "I want to go "home." As in "not here on this planet.") He said he felt the profound feeling of "Oh, right, this is home, how could I ever forget this feeling of being home?" When asked about what the meant, he said it was a profound feeling of overwhelming calm and peace. (My friend asked him "Unconditional love?" to which he said "Yes" -- which would have been my question as well. But he offered the word "home" and not the concept of "unconditional love.") He said it was a "profound feeling of being connected." He said he became aware that his friend Russell was "like a scientist" of some kind over there. He said the environment he had stopped in was "some kind of laboratory, with equipment" but that he could see "out into the stars." (In "It's a Wonderful Afterlife" one person recalling visiting the between lives realm recalled seeing a laboratory with equipment, where her spirit guide was waiting for her. As mentioned in "Flipside" and "Hacking the Afterlife" I myself have been to visit a number of "classrooms in the afterlife." No other logical way to describe them - but as "classrooms" or auditoriums with a stage. Here's the documentary FLIPSIDE for those who might want to check it out.)
Then he said he was worried about telling anyone about this experience - that of seeing his deceased friend still in existence on the flipside. Russell said to him "Don't worry about what other people think about this experience. Speak the truth. You'll always know the difference." (My brain froze for a moment when he said this -- I noted to this fellow that 30 years ago, I wrote and directed a film where the character Tony Geary ("You Can't Hurry Love") said that same exact line; "Eddie. It doesn't matter whether people believe what you're telling them is the truth or not, as long as you know the difference." Weird for me to hear it said back to me in this context 30 years later.)
(This is the film "You Can't Hurry Love" and that's Luana Anders in the photo - she's the one who passed away and brought me over to the Flipside to find her, as I've documented in my books. It's 90 minutes, I present it here because it's nearly impossible to find elsewhere). Then he asked Russell "How do I stay in touch with you?" (In between-life sessions, the hypnotherapist will often ask a "spirit guide" to "put a sensation somewhere in the body" of the person they're speaking to, so they can always refer to that sensation as a connection to them. That "shiver" that goes down your spine, or a "ringing sensation" in your ears could be your guide trying to let you know they're staying in touch with you.) Russell's reply was to walk forward and put his forehead inches away. The friend said that Russell stared into his eyes for what seemed like an eternity. And then Russell said "If you ever need to reach me, just remember this moment."
A window that looks Home. (NASA)
And then when this fellow zoomed back to the planet, back to his bed, he said he was moving so quickly that he bolted out of bed as if he was trying to stop. My friend looked at him, gestured to me and said "You're telling this story to the right fellow." I chuckled, asked this gentleman if he'd ever read any of my work on the topic. (Not that he should, I was just wondering why he was telling me a story that seemed to spring forth from my pages.) He hasn't. I said to him "Do you want to speak to Russell? Because you can." He said he'd very much like to. I recommended he see Scott De Tamble in Claremont. As I pointed out to him, Scott's done 35 sessions with people I've filmed (I've done four session with Scott myself, and one other with another therapist to see if I would have the same visuals - and did.) Scott's at lightbetweenlives.com - having a hypnotherapy session allows a person to experience an out of body experience, or a near death experience again without the stress. So what does this have to do with The OA? You remember the two times that Prairie goes to see her spirit guide Kaithun on the show? Both times she was speaking to her spirit guide in different languages while the spirit guide spoke to her in Arabic. Prairie spoke the first time to her in Russian, the second in English. But that didn't matter, because the "universal language" of the mind can be understood anywhere.
Kaithun and Prairie first visit (the OA)
The place where she was visiting her spirit guide was almost identical to what this fellow was telling me - some place "out in deep space," where stars and planets make up the backdrop, where he could clearly see that he was looking back on Earth but not in any realm he could identify. It was the same environment where Prairie saw her spirit guide, although this fellow's experience happened 40 years ago. What are the odds? That I would run into this guy was I was walking out of an office two hours ago? But let's tie this together for a moment for whomever it is that has stumbled across this blog, this post.... No matter how many difficulties that come in our lives, no matter how stressed, alone, unhappy, unloved we feel... it's important to know, and it's important to state - there is ALWAYS always ALWAYS someone keeping an eye on you. Your spirit guide to be sure. Perhaps a loved one. Perhaps you have your own Russell out there keeping an eye on you. But your loved ones ARE ACCESSIBLE. Not in the same way they used to be - imagine for a moment that they're living in Tibet and the only way you have to communicate is via an old cellphone that has a crackly connection - but you KNOW they're there, and they can hear you. You know that they hear you when you say slowly and loudly: I LOVE YOU. THEY ARE ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE. Michael Newton told me (via Jennifer Shaffer) that "all you have to do is say the name of the person you want to speak to." (as noted previously on this blog) I asked him if the name needed to be said aloud or in our mind? He said "Either, doesn't matter." I asked "How can a person discern, or know that their friend is responding to them rather than than it might be their imagination or wishful thinking?" He said "When the answers come before you can form the question, you'll know they're speaking with you."
In a still from the film "Flipside" Michael Newton (the Newton Institute)
This is the time of year when people start thinking they'd be better off if they weren't on the planet. The future looks bleak, the past may look happier - whatever. I'm here to tell you, to shout at you: YOU ARE HERE FOR A REASON!!!! You just need to reach out to a loved one, or a guide for guidance. It's hard to know the reason why we struggle. It's hard to see the reason why anyone struggles. That's okay. If it was so damned easy to know why we were here, we wouldn't learn anything while we are here. Who learns the lesson better? How do we learn the lesson the best? Someone who stands behind us and tells us how to do it? Or by doing it ourselves?
Photo of a spirit guide. Or a cloud. I can't tell.
It took courage to come here.It takes courage to stay here. Have courage. There is someone here that you're supposed to help. There is someone you promised you'd come and guide and hold their hand. Carrie Fisher came here to explore and teach people about mental illness. She needed a giant platform from which to do so. Her mom came here to pave the way for Carrie - to give her that platform. And George Michael came here to teach us that being gay or straight is a concept - when it comes delivered via a divine voice, we can't do anything but stand in awe and appreciation.
We are all connected all the time. It's all energy. Easy to say; hard to see.
Look around you. Someone you know and love right now needs your help. It might be to turn them on to the show the OA. It might be to turn them onto this research. It might be to laugh with them. It might be to cry with them. It might be to look them in the eye and say "Remember this moment. I am always nearby. I am always accessible to you. Just remember this moment... and I will be there."
Another
post about the show “The OA” – finished watching it, and was very moved by the scope of this series. The best word I can use to describe it is "Transcendant."
Zal and Brit from their series "The OA"
As noted, the show is loosely based on the NDE experiences. It's genesis was Brit running into a woman who had a near death experience, and told her about it. Zal credits Dr. Ray Moody's book ("Life After Death") with background info on these events. I'd also recommend people check into Dr. Bruce Greyson's work (considered the godfather of the science involved, he's at UVA and is featured in my book "It's a Wonderful Afterlife.") Also Dr. Sam Parnia's "Awareness" project is extensive.
But "the OA" is the first show I'm aware of that has dealt with these events from the perspective of what happens to people during and as a result from them, instead of adding some form of "it's all an illusion" skepticism. People tend to argue the "god spot" argument, although it was proven inaccurate by Mario Beauregard's MRI studies showing transcendent experiences aren't found in any one particular spot in the brain. His most recent studies show that "past life memories" are also not activated by any particular spot of the brain.
I've spoken to scientists about the argument that hypoxia is involved, cryptomnesia is involved, or even synesthesia. I show in my book "Hacking the Afterlife" that is not, could not be accurate when it comes to learning "new information" from someone no longer on this side of the veil. (And "Veil" is not my choice of words - it's an old word rarely used, but often used by people on the flipside.)
For those coming to my blog for the first time, I have a documentary called "Flipside" and four books based on similar consciousness events: Flipside covers thousands of cases of people under deep hypnosis experiencing the same things, It's a Wonderful Afterlife covers NDEs and scientists talking about consciousness, and Hacking the Afterlife includes using mediums to access the same individual that has passed away.
All I can report is that the research is consistent and replicable. (Another way of saying poor Hap could have saved all that trouble by reading one of Michael Newton's books on the topic, but I digress).
The series also covers a number of unusual esoteric practices
without fully explaining them, or getting into the details of where they come
from. For example the “yoga movements” the main characters do with such passion are
related to yoga movements like “tensegrity” a movement spawned by Carlos Castaneda and people who
were into his work – using the “energy” from a person to adjust and change its
flow.
This is related to the energy of
chakras, and the overall energy that is in the body, and sometimes practitioners can heal, or help people with physical problems by doing these kinds of
movements, without touching the patient.
They’re
also related to the “Six Yogas of Naropa” – a series of mental yogas that were
taught to Indian holy men around a thousand years ago by a teacher named
Naropa and passed primarily through Tibet (via Marpa, Milarepa, etc). These yogas include being able
to forcefully move consciousness from a living person into a person (or animal)
that has recently deceased.
These were
known as “secret” yogas for a long time – not because they were secret, but
were passed along orally from teacher to student, and weren’t written about
until this past century. These yogas
were taught to the very best students, and those who mastered them were
reportedly able to move energy, bring dead animals to life, to “walk through walls” or do other super human
feats.
I’ve read about them, have seen
reports of them in a variety of sources. I’m not aware of anyone currently on
the planet who can do them – other than the “inner heat yoga” which is taught to
all Tibetan Buddhist monks. It’s covered
in the book “Mind Science” where scientists show that a person meditating on
the “inner fire” can actually withstand extreme cold. Monks literally go naked into the snow and
are covered with wet blankets, which are so heated by the inner fire that they
eject steam from them. Clouds of monks in the snow. That I have seen or
witnessed being filmed.
The Potala. I took this pic of HHDL's old pad.
I’d
like to applaud the filmmakers for including a number of these practices in
their show, and at the same time treading the thin line of “it’s all in your
mind” or it’s all being made up... which from another perspective it is during
the story. But like all great stories –
from Sherezade to Homer, from Plato to Hitchcock, great story tellers bring us
into their world, and allow us to swim in the pool of their thoughts, and then
emerge from the other side of the pool with a new outlook on life. This show is “Touched by an Angel” with
science and a vast body of NDE research to back it up.
For
those who have watched “The OA” on Netflix, the show ends with a tribute to
Allison Wilke, an associate producer on the show. Some folks, naturally, have
assumed that she was the star of the show – that indeed she played the main
character. Of course, that’s not the case. Allison Wilke was an associate
producer on the show, and passed away just recently, this past November.
Allison,
according the what I’m reading on the web, went by the professional moniker of A.W.
Gryphon. Born in Manhassett, New York, she is “known for her work on Pirates of
the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), Vertical Limit (2000) and Daddy Day
Care (2003) according to IMDB. But a cursory look shows that she was
involved with much, much more in her life, and it was in relation to healing
others.
AW Gryphon's IMDB pic
In
2014 she wrote/produced/directed the documentary “What the F@#- Is Cancer andWhy Does Everybody Have It?” She produced the TRP “Wellness DVD Series for
Children with Autism and Special Needs.”
In her career she worked on a number of projects for a variety of
producers, from Jerry Bruckheimer on “Pirates” to the Blair Witch project. She
didn’t bring us those shows, but lent her talents and effort to making them.
She wrote about her battle with cancer on the Huffington
Post.
The
reason I mention this is because, well, she’s a metaphor for the show.
From her H Post article about returning to life after cancer.
We
aren’t consciously aware of why we choose to come to the planet. We are
afterwards, once we get off stage. But here she had this pretty intense amazing
career in show business, changing and affecting lives by her talent, wit and
wisdom, and the last thing she worked on was this show about angels. The show itself posits the question – are
there angels among us? It argues that
those who go through difficulty (like having an NDE and choosing to come back)
are people who are angel like – who help the rest of us with our struggles on
the planet.
Photo of Allison is captioned
"2014-05-05-May6OutsideDrShensOfficeMedstubejustremoved"
But
I’m saying that the research shows that we are all in that same boat. We all choose to come here. We all choose to
struggle and go through difficulties “on this stage” of life. We are all coming here by choice and we learn
from the experience. Some of us are
stronger, deeper, more talented at this journey than others – it’s been
reported that “older souls” choose the more difficult lives because they
believe they can handle them. So when
you see someone struggling physically, mentally, think for a moment about how
difficult it was for them to agree to come here and live this lifetime, to make
this journey. They’re doing it to further the knowledge of their own existence,
but its also to further the knowledge for all of us. They’re literally heroes who have gone into
the battle so we can learn from it.

Brit
Marling and Zal Batmangilj brought us this show "The OA," but it’s pretty amazing the
depth and breadth of these messages of condolence to Allison and her family and reflect directly on the message of the series.
That
we should all be so lucky to work on something that will change or affect
people’s lives in such a profound way. I
post a sampling here because although I didn’t know Allison, I’m sure her
family, friends and colleagues are moved and touched by these messages. By sharing in their grief,
we all share in the magic and beauty that is life. We all share in what her work in life, and on
this show brought to the planet. And
continues to do so. Here's Allison's Ted Talk...
You want to know what an angel looks like?
Take a look at Allison's photo above, and then read these notes to her from friends and strangers moved by this show. We can't see the power of our work and what it has on other's lives... except for those rare instances where we can.
“Angels
- NDE and Miracles and the human spirits capacity to struggle in an imperfect
world between heaven and hell , sanity and insanity and to sometimes overcome
or push through the primordial soup of a native dance carried through self
sacrifice, forgiveness and suffering - all elemental waters of a deep pool of
mystery that many people are called to become immersed within - to always
remember that the ends do not justify the means . The Authors, directors and
actors of the film OA have it seems had glimpses and insights of that fleeting
plane of consciousness just beyond a mortals reach - a pool from which are born
- Angels. Thank you.”

I
am so saddened by the loss of such a wonderful and talented person. The OA was
a sensational and beautifully written show, it gives my soul peace in knowing
that what I have always felt is now realized. I am now more relaxed in knowing
that there is beauty in believing in such thoughts. I am now happy and can move
forward with a profound look on my life. Peace and love OA you were taken too
soon love and light , namaste.

Sometimes
people can paint the most beautiful picture of what your mind could only dream
of, and make our wildest dreams become reality...she did exactly this. I just
binge watched the entire season..."when you die, there's just more
life." I believe this to be true entirely. See you on the other side OA

"The
OA" was one of the most profound pieces of film making that I have ever
seen. I am heartbroken to know you will not be with us to produce more. Your
message was loud and clear and I can't thank you enough. Wherever you are,
Allison, I hope you are surrounded by love, light and joy. Rest in piece, dear
angel.

I
for the first time in my 48 years can & will accept passing on.. Alison you
are a sweet angel now. I hope one day to meet you in our universe so I can hug
you for giving me peace to live my life .. Not being worried anymore is a
miracle. Because of you & The OA. ❤❤❤
I'm
not really a student, but I want you to know that I watched the show, it gave
me a little something to believe in. It was strange and beautiful. I watched
the ending movements about 10 times. Showing the strengths of what people can
do if they come together. Thank you and may you rest in peace wherever you are
Now
you know you're truth :) Thank you for bringing The OA to us. You left too soon
but I hope you have your peace, see you someday Allison. RIP

I
really loved the way you produced the connection of all things in the universe.
There are many things that we are not the centerpiece of, the universe was
provided to us.
The
movie very symmetrical for and appreciated and connected within us all for the
goodness of love and light. We have to be willing to sacrifice as it was always
the greatest gift! We only have to reach within our soul to make the universe
different.

I
believe in Angels. And I loved the story told in the O A, which I believe you
must have, too. I hope you are traveling through all the other universes and
spaces in between that we as mere mortals cannot. May your journey be filled
with wonder and happiness and continue on to places unknown. Send a sign from
the other side if you chose. I will listen. Even if you can only whisper. Your
story is not over. Another one has just begun.

Just
watched and loved The OA ... was spellbound by it ... and shocked at the end,
to see you crossed over at such a young age. I was riveted by the story line,
as you are a phenomenal actress in it. We share the same birthday, Nov 7 and I
had a NDE at age 2 - was in a coma for 2 weeks. I remember it in detail to this
day. You are now in a place of Peace, Love, Light and Bliss. I hope we will meet
one day -- on this side or That!

Sorry
you passed too soon. The OA was eye opening. Rest In Peace.
Powerful messages all. Many are directed to Brit Marling, and Zal Batmanglij, for this show, for the OA, but we are all part of the same wheel that creates beauty. They chose to dedicate the series to Allison and her journey here.
We all share in this beautiful adventure called life, and like all the 35 people that I've filmed under deep hypnosis have said, when he leave here we "return home."
That's good to know. That home is not here. Home is somewhere else, and once we get off stage, we go back there. "Home."
Where Allison Wilke Gryphon has gone. Home. As I wrote the above post, this lyric came to mind: And in my hour of darkness She is standing right in front of me Speaking words of wisdom Let it be Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be Whisper words of wisdom Let it be And when the broken-hearted people Living in the world agree There will be an answer Let it be For though they may be parted there is Still a chance that they will see There will be an answer Let it be..... (from "Let it be" by Lennon and McCartney)
